Artlex began scoring in May 2026. Below is every rating we have ever issued: the composite score, the rating, and the Artlex-reasoned rationale we surfaced to subscribers at that moment. No retroactive edits, no quiet downgrades.

We will publish hit-rate data once 6 months of forward outcomes exist.

A statistically meaningful track record (“what did our BUY ratings do 6 months later”) requires forward time to elapse. The first cohort of scores issued in May 2026 will be evaluated in Q4 2026, and the resulting hit-rate (vs. our published rating at issue) will be added to this page.

For each rating bucket, the average count of four signals a sophisticated buyer would already check. If our high ratings don’t correlate with these quality markers, the score is broken. Spearman ρ is the cross-sectional rank correlation between composite score and each signal.

This is a consistency check, not predictive evidence: it shows the score agrees with quality signals it partially uses as inputs. True forward evidence (did our calls precede outcomes?) lands in the Forward scorecard below as predictions mature.

Every score we issue is frozen into a predictions ledger with a fixed verify date. When the date passes, we automatically measure what’s happened to the artist since (press, museum acquisitions, gallery moves) and stamp an outcome. No retroactive edits.

First cohort matures Aug 2026. The per-rating scorecard publishes here automatically once 10+ predictions have matured. There’s no editorial step in between.

In flight: 1,000predictions. We don’t hide the unverified ones; they’ll be counted whether the outcome flatters us or not.
